Jean-Rene M. – Testimony

-I was a student in the European Committee, last year in Brussels.

A trip in Bucharest, Romania has been organized as part of the Romanian language course.

The trip took place in May – from Thursday until Monday. It was a truly beautiful experience.

-1) An easy beautiful flight to Otopeni (the airport in Bucharest)

2) A prepared and motivated “Promenada” team with a warm welcome!

3) A well-made itinerary (brochure) encompassing a solution for every day – if it were to rain (and it did – but only
outside, not in our hearts).

Team Promenada, very well organized (two coordinators, a photographer and a driver).

They took good care of us since we arrived in Bucharest and until the end. In my programme I discovered a different

We visited the oldest bits as well as more recent streets. We saw large parks and much smaller, very beautiful ones.

We visited museums. We ate both modern and traditional; we saw a folk dance show at the restaurant.

And everything was done in a friendly manner. I felt very well and the team was great. It was a full weekend.

But it wasn’t over as team Promenade still had two shows on its list: one at the Opera and one at the National Theatre.

The last evening took place at “Casa cu tei” restaurant and we even got gifts, we and a cake specially made for us which is called “Promenade”.

Promenada is an organization that really knows how to do its job/ to take care of people and their wishes.

Each of us found what we were looking for, because Promenada adapted their itinerary all the time – they like things well

I will definitely come back to Romania now that I know that Promenada will be organizing more trips.

I will want to be the first on the list to discover the rest on Romania.
